A rooftop forest for Stuttgart – Calwer Passage

Calwer Passage Stuttgart - On Tuesday, planting of the first trees on the seventh floor began. They are now between seven and ten metres high and will grow to a crown height of twelve metres.

ingenhoven architects is responsible for the urban green concept of the new residential and office building, including facades and roofs. By September we will have planted more than 82 trees, black pine, English oak, Swedish hornbeam and many more, as well as a wide variety of climbing and trailing plants. Many thanks to our client Ferdinand Piëch Holding GmbH for daring this experiment!
