As director at ingenhoven architects, Holm Bethge’s main focus is on leading one of the practice’s competition teams. After completing his architectural studies at Berlin Technical University in 2001, he lived and worked in London, Prague and Düsseldorf and completed projects in Singapore, Vietnam, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, and Andorra.
From 2002 to 2004, Holm Bethge worked for Foster + Partners in London, and in 2004 he joined BFLS in London as Associate Director. From 2012 to 2016 he worked for Bogle Architects in London and Prague. In 2016, Holm Bethge joined ingenhoven architects as Project Director and in January 2019 was promoted to Director.
Holm Bethge is experienced in directing a variety of building projects, including high-rise apartment buildings, research and teaching establishments, offices, as well urban design tasks.
One of his most important projects is the El Falguero development in Andorra, which was awarded to the practice after it won the design competition and which includes three high-rise apartment buildings as well as retail and restaurant facilities.
Another of his projects was the revision of the masterplan for the city of Freiburg, Germany, including the design for a new town hall as well as offices and 400 housing units.
