BDA Architecture Award Düsseldorf: Recognition for the Schauspielhaus Renovation

With the "Architekturpreis Düsseldorf"awards, the BDA aims to enhance awareness of high-quality architecture and draw attention to the criteria that define it.

The independent jury particularly praised the congenial and careful treatment of the listed building fabric during the renovation of the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus.

"The renovation has been carried out with remarkable sensitivity and creative brilliance, allowing the building to authentically reflect the lively atmosphere of its origin, despite the introduction of new design elements. In fact, it has successfully intensified this atmosphere in an impressive manner."

The ceremonial award ceremony took place on February 2nd at the Architecture Center of the City Museum in Düsseldorf.
