Spaces of opportunity – The sketchbook as experimental field, Deutscher Werkbund Berlin e. V., Berlin, 2019

May 10 to June 20, 2019
Spaces of opportunity—The Sketchbook as Experimental Field, Deutscher Werkbund Berlin e. V.

Christoph Ingenhoven contributed a sketchbook to the exhibition "Spaces of opportunity—Sketchbook as Experimental Field". It contains one of the first iconic sketches for Marina One in Singapore, which he drew in 2012.
From May 10 until June 20, 2019 the Deutsche Werkbund Berlin is exhibiting sketchbooks by its members on the occasion of its 70th anniversary. The method of sketching and collecting drawings, collages, notes in books—be they analog or digital archives—seems to connect artists, graphic artists, designers, architects, urban planners, craftsmen and manufacturers. In 16 showcases and on five monitors 41 sketchbooks, notebooks, calendars and digital documents can be seen, which provide insight into intimate moments of the creative process of all disciplines represented in the Werkbund.
