Our designs holistically consider the various scales from urban design to detail. Starting on an urban planning level we develop the precinct by not only inventing buildings that work as a whole but by working on the space in-between. Within all projects the urban space context and public spaces play an important role. The building themselves are designed in a viable way, allowing a flexible long time use throughout the building’s life cycle. The outcome is an urban design that serves future generations. We do respect the local setting and believe a careful analysis allows for a coexistence of old and new finally resulting in something greater than just the addition of the different parts. We have wide experience of projects within a sensible environment and also in heritage- and redevelopment projects that include existing structures and buildings. As such we are used to dealing with existing grains, city spaces and master plans and the limitations and constrain arising from those.
