Exhibition “this is modern” at Architekturmuseum TU Berlin

On the occasion of the Architecture Biennale in 2014, the German Werkbund Berlin and the Architectural Museum asked 22 architectural offices from Germany to present their ideas for the dilapidated German Pavilion in Venice. Christoph Ingenhoven’s design concept based on a sensitive approach to the existing building: small adjustments to the apse and an opening on the rear of the building towards San Giorgio Maggiore, Santa Maria della Salute and San Marco.

All 22 works will be exhibited from June 19th to July 7th at the Architekturmuseum TU Berlin – the last stop, since the exhibition has been shown at various locations in Germany within the last year.
